Josh Rinker is a Bloomington, Illinois attorney with extensive experience in both criminal and civil litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Illinois State University before completing his Master of Business Administration (MBA). He then received his Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School.
Josh began his legal career in McLean County with the Dunn Law Firm, where he concentrated on civil litigation, business formation, and estate litigation. He later joined the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office as an Assistant State’s Attorney, prosecuting DUI offenses, misdemeanors, and felony drug cases. This prosecutorial experience provided him with valuable courtroom experience and insight into the criminal justice system.
After returning to private practice with Skelton & Wong, P.C., Josh expanded his practice to include all aspects of criminal defense while also establishing himself as a skilled advocate in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and child support litigation. In addition, he developed significant experience handling complex appeals before the Fourth District Appellate Court.
