Attorney James Finegan has practiced law in the Bloomington, Illinois area for more than 40 years, with a focus on bankruptcy, real estate, and civil litigation.
After serving for two years as a prosecutor with the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office, Phil Finegan joined the firm, where he concentrates on criminal defense, DUI/DWI cases, traffic citations, and felony matters throughout Bloomington and the surrounding communities.
One year later, Rob Finegan also left the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office to join the family practice. His areas of practice include bankruptcy, real estate, DUI defense, traffic and speeding citations, and civil litigation.
In February 2018, The Finegan Law Firm and attorney Joshua P. Rinker combined their practices to form Finegan & Rinker. Like Phil and Rob, Josh previously served as a prosecutor with the McLean County State’s Attorney’s Office before entering private practice. He focuses on criminal defense, DUI cases, traffic citations, family law, child custody disputes, and child support matters.
Today, at Finegan, Rinker & Ghrist, Josh continues to represent clients in criminal defense, DUI and traffic matters, as well as family law cases involving divorce, custody, parenting time, and child support.
